My article is about the United States and how they had to reroute one of their aircraft in order to maintain safe distance from a Russian plane. The title of my article is, “U.S. plane in Syria forced to avoid Russian aircraft.”
I got my article from USA Today. In my article a U.S. plane had to be rerouted to maintain safe distance from a Russian plane coordinating airstrikes over Syria. Russia has recently launched airstrikes against the Islamic State. The U.S. and Russia are by no means coordinating attacks with each other. I think it’s ridiculous that our relations are that bad. We shouldn’t have to maintain a “safe distance.” This affects me because if a war was to start between us and Russia I and tons of other people could be killed. This event greatly impacts the world because of the deadly potential. The U.S.-Russia relations are so unstable that not much could start a possible nuclear war. If nuclear war was to start between the two nations millions would be dead. Not to mention how many other countries would be drawn in to the war or be affected.
