Lead #1. As a result of amazing test the last three years a new lunch policy will go into effect for all students excluding freshman. The lunch period will be extended by 10 minutes to give the students a 45 minute lunch.
Lead #2. Rock Hill will be receiving another super Wal-Mart by May of 2006 due to their growing community. The community members have started a petition and will hold a town meeting because they fear the Wal-Mart will hurt local businesses.

Lead #4. A recently released survey revealed that 2.7 million children are abused a year, and half are under the age of 1. More than 79% of the deaths were among children 5 or younger.
Lead #5. As a result of a careless smoker, $76,000 in damage was caused to a two bedroom house in Los Gatos at around 3:30 a.m.. Firefighters were on the scene and had the blaze under control quickly, luckily the homeowner only suffered minor burns.
